In the first half, it didn&#8217;t look like Baylor could miss.  Yet, Arkansas somehow kept in the game &#8211; only down 46-38 at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But for a team that was so strong offensively, one of the big stories is the defense that Baylor played in the second half.  There was an 8 minute stretch towards the end of the game where the Razorbacks didn&#8217;t score a single point from the field &#8211; just 6 free throws.  During that 8 minute stretch &#8211; they extended their 4 point lead to 10.  And strangely, Arkansas didn&#8217;t really try to extend the game by fouling.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, congratulations to the Baylor Bears &#8211; the regular season champion of the Big 12!  It is good to see that the Bears have managed to survive the Lunatic Curse to make the Final Four &#8211; especially since they have been one of the top 3 teams in the country the entire season.
