Of course, you never know what is going to happen in the Big 10.\u00a0 The Boilers on Saturday night found their lead down to 1 game over Northwestern.\u00a0 By Sunday, Northwestern lost to Maryland to lock a share of the title for Purdue but put them 2 games ahead of 4 teams.\u00a0 And by midway through the first half, Michigan lost in double overtime to Illinois to join Northwestern, Indiana and Maryland in losing their games this week to give the title to Purdue (and create a 7 way tie for 2nd place).<\/p>\n
And it would have been an 8 way tie if Rutgers didn’t blow a 10 point lead with 1 minute left to 8-20 Minnesota on a buzzer beating 3 pointer (that then took 10 minutes for the refs to look at replay after replay to finally verify that the Gophers had pulled the upset).<\/p>\n
