Everyone knew the ball would be in Davis’ hands, and he got a three pointer off with 4 seconds left.\u00a0 But this history buzzer beater did not go in, and Davis fell 3 points short of tying the long-time record.<\/p>\n
Still, you have to tip you hat to Antoine Davis for coming so close to the record.\u00a0 Unfortunately, with Detroit Mercy at 14-19, it is likely that this game ended Davis’ NCAA career.\u00a0 But any time that a player can bring such attention to a Horizon conference quarter-final, it is good for the game of college basketball.<\/p>\n
