Purdue had a 13 point lead and then Matt Painter and the Boilers took their foot off the gas. And Arkansas-Little Rock thanked them by sending the Boilers home in the first round for the second straight year.
Amazing double overtime victory for Arkansas-Little Rock. Typically, the Lunatic would be going crazy about how awesome this is – but I can’t help but feel bad for my Boilers. Will be a sad rest of the evening for the Lunatic.

Oh, Tom. My heart aches for you. Not that I have a touch of emotion for Purdue–I don’t even know where they are–don’t they make chickens or such? But I know your attachment and for your heartbreak, I break too.
Well, chin up. Chest out. Today is the first day of the rest of your life–or some such at least. And, the next time I eat chicken, I’ll be thinking of you.
