Kansas always stayed a few steps ahead of Michigan State, until they blew the game out of the water in the second half.    North Carolina’s game wasn’t as easy – as the Tar Heels found themselves down 65-60 with 3 minutes to play before scoring the last 12 points of the game to win and advance.    That was a really great try by Arkansas who looked like they were going to pull the upset, but UNC didn’t panic and managed to survive and advance.

So, Tar Heel fans, you can breathe a sigh of relief – UNC is in the Sweet 16.   Now, you can join the rest of us in seeing whether or not Rhode Island can take out Oregon – they have a 6 point lead with 12 to play.    And USC has cut Baylor’s double digit lead to 5 at half (can the Trojans really win their third straight tournament game after falling behind by double digits….)     Still lots of basketball to play tonight!!!
