And then with about a minute to play, Purdue’s star guard took the ball off the inbounds, dribbled to the center of the court, made a great cross-over dribble to create a little space and drained a three-pointer to give Purdue a 6 point lead. Purdue would hit their free throws from there to win 81-71 and advance to the Sweet 16.
