Are you kidding me!!!!!

If you didn’t stay up to watch the late games, you missed an incredible ending to the first round.

First, Texas finds themselves down 2 points to Northern Iowa with 11 seconds in the game.  Isaiah Taylor gets the ball and drives down the court, hitting a great shot to tie the game with just 2 seconds left.  And then, March Madness happens.  The Panthers pass the ball in to Paul Jesperson, he gets to half court and heaves the ball towards the basket, and the arena erupts as the ball hits the glass and bounces in to give Northern Iowa an improbable way to win by 3 points over Texas.

Then, if you switched over quickly enough, you witnessed the following chain of events.  Cincinnati’s Jacob Evans gets a dunk to give the Bearcats a 1 point lead with 16 seconds left.  St. Joseph’s brings the ball down the court, and Isaiah Miles calmly knocks own a three point shot to get the lead back by 2 points with 7 seconds to play.   So, Cincinnati drives down the field, gets stuck at the baseline until a brilliant pass to big man Octavius Ellis who goes up to dunk the ball to what looks like it ties the game.  But upon review, the refs can see that the ball which is even partially in the cylinder is still touching Ellis’ hand as the red light goes off representing the end of the game.  The dunk is waved off and St. Joseph’s survives with a 2 point victory.

WOW!!!!   IT MUST BE MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
