Congratulations to James Madison and Samford, as they won their conference tournaments. And the Selection Committee thanks the Dukes and Bulldogs, since they do not need to consider leaving out a team that has won 30 or 28 games. Both teams managed to win one more – and make the debate a seeding debate instead of a selection debate.

And as I realize it is almost 10 pm, I start to realize the potential for significant late evenings. The Lunatic is getting old – not sure sleep deprivation is a good idea. Need to consider if I create my conference board to be used for bracketology – or try to get some sleep before the tournament comes.

Oh look – St. Mary’s is only up 7 at halftime against Santa Clara. Maybe I can watch one more half of basketball…..
